2017 Awarded Fitzwater Medallion for Leadership in Public Communication and Public Discourse by a K-12 teacher; other award recipients were NPR host Diane Rehm and former Executive Editor of New Hampshire’s Union Leader, Trent Spiner.

2016 Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communications Presidency and the Press High School Advisor. Spent six months covering the political campaign trail throughout New Hampshire with 10 members of Souhegan High School’s student digital magazine. Students interviewed Gov. Kasich, Jeb Bush, NH Senator Maggie Hassan, NH Senator Jeanne Shaheen and attended Trump, Sanders, Clinton rallies as registered press. Attended the 2016 presidential inauguration as registered press.
